ALT HOMEGROWN SPOTLIGHT: Clyde Cyrus

Clyde Cyrus is an outstanding vocalist hailing from the slums of Fort Wayne, Indiana. 432 days after receiving an encouraging message from Earl Sweatshirt in late 2014, Clyde jumpstarted his career as an ambitious teenager performing alongside hip-hop legends Dead Prez and X-Clan at his first concert in Indianapolis.

Clyde kicked off the new decade strong, showcasing autotune on prayer followed by a fresh cycle of singles such as Sleep, EMOCEANS, & What’s the Point?, featuring appearances from PRO ERA, Shiloh Dynasty & Snøw. This run included a pair of online freestyles earning the young poet praise from Ab-Soul and Big Sean, leading to a follow on Twitter from streaming giant TIDAL. Clyde Cyrus is currently enrolled in acting school.
