ALT Homegrown Spotlight: The Be Colony

The Be Colony plays genre-defiant music born of diverse influences across all times and styles. The band has been gigging and recording since 2015, in which time they have played several regional festivals and accumulated a healthy catalogue of albums and singles.

Their upcoming release – “BE III” – will be out on August 4th, 2023 and features 15 musicians in collaboration covering a vast sonic range. Current members Atticus Sorrell, Bray Coughlin, Chandler Cashdollar, and Jacob Terhune are staying busy this year both in the studio, recording songs for new albums and projects, and on the road, playing music all across the Midwest and beyond. Indiana residents can hear these new tunes live at Back Alley Ballahoo, hosted by Square Cat Vinyl in Indianapolis on Friday, August 8th, and also at Hop River Brewing Company – sharing the stage with the Namby Pamby on Friday, August 17th.

You can find them at TheBeColony.com.

Listen to them on Sundays and Thursdays at 7pm on ALT Homegrown Spotlight.
