“ALT-imate Getaway Contest”
OFFICIAL RULES
HOW TO ENTER AND WIN:
The “ALT-imate Getaway” contest will begin on February 10, 2020 through March 13, 2020 at 5pm.
No purchase necessary.
To participate in the contest, listen to ALT 102.3 each weekday from 9am to 5pm for a song played by Billie Eilish. Once the song plays in its entirety, be the 9th caller at (877)-325-1023 to be a finalist for the Grand Prize. All contestants must meet eligibility restrictions to participate. A list of Billie Eilish songs along with the dates and times to be played during the contest can be found at www.altfortwayne.com The contest will be played randomly each weekday. Any commercial, promo or other element played on the station that may contain a portion of the featured songs by Billie Eilish are not eligible in the contest. Only the song played at the scheduled date and time listed at www.altfortwayne.com is the eligible for the contest. Any song that does not play at it’s scheduled date/time for any reason will not be rescheduled, and no qualifier taken.
Contestants may have additional opportunities to qualify at Alt Pop Up locations. The appearance dates, times and locations will be revealed on air and at www.altfortwayne.com. Contestants must complete a contest entry form. One contest entry will be randomly selected from all eligible entries to be a finalist for the Grand Prize.
A contestant may only qualify one time during the contest.
SELECTION OF WINNERS:
On March 13, 2020, at 5 p.m. ALT 102.3 will conduct a random drawing from all eligible contest entries to determine the Grand Prize winner. One name will be selected and the first contestant meeting all eligibility restrictions will be the winner. The selected entrant’s name will be announced on-air. If they do not call back within 2 business days, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. This process will continue until one winner is determined. There will be one winner in the contest.
In the event that all of the qualifying names have been announced and a winner is not determined, the prize will become the property of ALT 102.3.
ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS:
The contest is open to all ALT 102.3 listeners who are 18 years of age or older who reside in the ALT 102.3 listening area, including Adams, Allen, Dekalb, Huntington, Noble, Steuben, Wells and Whitley Counties in Indiana, along with Paulding, Defiance and Van Wert counties in Ohio. Employees of Sarkes Tarzian, Inc., participating companies in the promotion and employees of other radio stations in the Fort Wayne metropolitan area.
Employees of Sarkes Tarzian Inc., ProFed Credit Union, Interscope Records and their immediate families are ineligible. Family is defined as: parents, children, grandparent, spouse, in-laws and those in spouse-like relationships, siblings, including those in step and half relations, anyone who has worked or interned with Sarkes Tarzian, Inc. is also ineligible. You are not eligible to participate in an ALT 102.3 contest if you have won an ALT prize valued at $600 or more within the prior four months.
GRAND PRIZE:
The Grand Prize is two tickets to see Billie Eilish at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse, on March 25, 2020 in Indianapolis, IN, along with hotel room for one overnight stay in Indianapolis, $102 dollars cash and Alt 1023 station gear.
The value of the trip is: $500.00
Grand Prize Winner is solely responsible for ground transportation, telephone charges, meals, gratuities, transfers, spending money and any other expenses not specifically offered herein.
Sarkes Tarzian Inc., will not be responsible for show delays, cancellation or rescheduling.
Grand Prize Winner may be required to present a valid credit card upon check-in at hotel to cover any incidental expenses.
Prizes provided to Alt 102.3 in this contest were provided in exchange for promotional consideration by Interscope Records.
The odds of winning depend on the number of finalists meeting eligibility restrictions.
Contest prizes are not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
CONDITIONS:
Decisions of station management with respect to the contest are final.
Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner. ALT 102.3 will submit an IRS form 1099 or the equivalent for any individual who wins a total of $600 or more in prizes during any calendar year.
By participating in this contest, the winner or winners and their guests and traveling companions agree to allow their name, voice, and/or likeness to be used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest for a period of one year without additional financial or other compensation.
Contest winners are required to sign a receipt verifying eligibility prior to acceptance of any prize of more than nominal value. Before claiming a prize, contest winner(s) and guest or traveling companion, are also required to sign a Travel Release if the prize to be awarded is valued at $600.00 or greater, if the contest or the prize entails dangerous or potentially dangerous activity, or if the prize includes the provision of transportation, whether or not such transportation is provided by ALT 102.3. Pursuant to the Travel Release, the winners and each of their guests or traveling companions will agree to hold ALT 102.3, Sarkes Tarzian, Inc., and the respective officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless from and against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
All winners must show proper identification and sign a prize receipt and publicity release prior to the acceptance of the prize.
ALT 102.3 is not responsible for telephone service outages, delays, busy signals or telephone malfunctions and any other difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her call during this contest.
ALT 102.3, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the ALT 102.3 web site or who is otherwise in violation of the rules. The station further reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
These rules are the subject to the interpretation of ALT 102.3. Any aspect of these rules, including substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater value, can be changed at the discretion of ALT 102.3, with such change(s) to be effective upon on-air or other appropriate announcement.
The contest is void where prohibited.
Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification, at the sole discretion of ALT 102.3.
ALT 102.3 is not responsible for errors in the offering or the administration of the contest, including any telephone malfunctions, computer errors or in the announcement of the prize.
As a consequence of delays in the online streaming of the Alt 1023 signal compared to over-the-air broadcasts, online listeners may be at a disadvantage in attempting to participate in on-air contests. Sarkes Tarzian Inc., is not responsible for online streaming delays.
Sarkes Tarzian Inc., reserves the right to change the contest rules at any time.
