”ALT-imate Couch Concert Experience with Blue October”
How to Enter the Contest:
a. “The ALT-imate Couch Concert Experience with Blue October” contest will begin on July 13, 2020 and end on July 24, 2020 at 6 p.m.
b. To enter in the contest, listen to WGBJ between 3:00pm and 6:00pm for the cue to call each weekday beginning July 13, 2020 and ending July 24. Upon hearing the cue to call, the 10th caller at (877)-325-1023 will win a prize package, pending verification of eligibility. At the time of entrant’s call, the entrant will be required to provide all requested information, including entrant’s full name, complete address, day and evening phone numbers and date of birth in order to be eligible to win. P.O. Boxes are not permitted. In the event that the selected caller is disconnected or is found to be ineligible, the next eligible caller answered and completes the call will be a winner, pending the same conditions. There is no limit to the number of times a listener may attempt to call to win, but may only win once during the contest.
c. Contestants can also register to win at https://www.altfortwayne.com July 13, 2020 thru July 22, 2020.
d. To enter online, visit https://www.altfortwayne.com and follow the links and instructions to enter the Contest. Complete and submit the online entry form, including your name, address, day and evening phone numbers, and a valid e-mail address. Online entrants are subject to all notices posted online including but not limited to the station’s privacy policy. Limit one (1) entry per eligible person during the entry period regardless if entrant has more than one email address. Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same email address. P.O. boxes are not permitted. Entries submitted may not be acknowledged or returned. Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of receipt by the Contest administrator. By the use of the Station website and by entering this contest, contestants agree to Station’s website user agreement and privacy policy as described on at https://www.altfortwayne.com.
e. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning the email address or the domain associated with the submitted email address.
f. One entry per person. There will be 4 winners at https://www.altfortwayne.com Contestants can also win on WGBJ socials including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. To enter on Facebook visit https://www.facebook.com/alt1023fm, on Twitter visit https://twitter.com/alt1023fm, and on Instagram visit
g. https://www.instagram.com/alt1023fm/. “If an entrant does not already “like” the page, the entrant must “like” the page in order to access the Contest.” Following the links and instructions, the entrant must enter the Contest and complete and submit the online entry form during the entry period. Entrant will need a valid Facebook, Twitter and Instagram account in order to enter. If he or she does not already have one, entrants can open a Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts for free at www.facebook.com, www.twitter.com, and www.instagram.com. “Limit one (1) entry per eligible person during the entry period regardless if entrant has more than one email address or Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account. Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same email address, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account.”
h. There will be 2 winners selected from Facebook, 2 winners from Twitter and 2 winners from Instagram and 20 winners On-Air during the contest.
i. A contestant may only win once during the contest, whether through On-Air, the WGBJ website, or through participating WGBJ social media platforms.
Eligibility Restrictions:
The contest is open to anyone who is 18 years of age or older and reside in the Fort Wayne metropolitan area, consisting of Allen, Whitley, Dekalb, Wells, Adams, Huntington, Steuben and Noble counties in Indiana and Defiance, Van Wert, and Paulding counties in Ohio. Employees of Sarkes Tarzian, Inc., owners, employees, agents and present or former paid spokespeople for the participating sponsors/promotional partners, employees of other radio stations in the Fort Wayne metropolitan area and members of their respective families are ineligible to participate or win. Family members are parents, children, spouses, those in spouse-like relationship and siblings, in-laws (including those in step-and half relationships when living in the same household). Anyone who has been employed by or interned with Sarkes Tarzian, Inc. is also ineligible.
Prizes:
a. 10 prize packages awarded, On-Air only. Each prize package includes 2 Streaming Codes to view the live online performance of the band Blue October on July 25, 2020, along with access to concert footage via Getbackup.tv. 20 total Streaming Codes awarded.
b. 6 Streaming Codes to be awarded on Social Media. 2 codes at https://www.facebook.com/alt1023fm, 2 codes at https://twitter.com/alt1023fm, 2 codes at https://www.instagram.com/alt1023fm
c. 4 Streaming Codes to be giving away at https://www.altfortwayne.com through a contest submission form. Winners will be selected at random from all entries at WGBJ website meeting eligibility requirements during the contest dates.
d. 5 “Raid the Merch Codes” awarded, On-Air only. Each code is good for purchasing Blue October Merchandise from their online store at
https://shop.bandwear.com/collections/blue-october-shop. Each Merch Code is valued at $100 including taxes, towards the purchase of merchandise. Any items totaling over $100 may require additional expenses paid for by the winner.
e. All prize winners may be required to complete and return all paperwork provided by WGBJ before claiming the prize within 30 days.
f. Prizes are not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
Selection of Winners:
a. Decisions of station management with respect to the contest are final.

All online prize winners will be selected at random from contestants who meet all eligibility restrictions and have completed an entry during the contest dates on either https://www.altfortwayne.com, https://www.facebook.com/alt1023fm, https://twitter.com/alt1023fm, or https://www.instagram.com/alt1023fm
2. On-Air giveaways will be awarded to the 10th caller to WGBJ (877)-3251023, each time the contest is played.
3. Chances of winning depend on the number of callers each time, and the number of entries received on each WGBJ online platform.
4. The online winners will be announced on at https://www.altfortwayne.com after 4pm the day of each giveaway.
5. WGBJ will contact the winners by telephone or through social media depending on the platform in which the contestant entered. If a winner cannot be reached within 2 business days, an alternate winner will be selected and the prize awarded.
6. Dates are subject to change at the discretion of WGBJ.
Conditions:
a. Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners will be reported to the IRS on IRS Form 1099 or the equivalent.
b. By participating in the contest, the winner agrees to allow their name, voice and/or likeness to be used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest for a period of one year without additional financial or other compensation.
c. Contest winners are required to sign a receipt verifying eligibility prior to acceptance of any prize of more than nominal value. Before claiming a prize, contest winners are also required to sign a liability release if the prize to be awarded is valued at $600 or greater, if the contest or prize includes the provision
of transportation, whether or not such transportation is provided by WGBJ. Pursuant to the Liability Release and Travel Release, the winner will agree to hold WGBJ and Sarkes Tarzian, Inc., and the respective officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless from and against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
d. WGBJ in its sole discretion, reserve the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of any station web site or who is otherwise in violation of the rules. The station further reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
These rules are subject to the interpretation of WGBJ. Any aspect of these rules, including the substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater value, can be changed at the discretion of station management, and such changes will become effective upon on-air or other appropriate announcement.
No purchase is necessary. This contest is void where prohibited.
Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification, at the sole discretion of WGBJ.
WGBJ are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcements of any prize.
